It’s pretty obvious that I love a good party… so when it came time for Ryan to turn 30, he should have known I’d be up to something!
This party has been in the works for months. I mailed out invitations, crafted custom stationery of course, put together decorations and favors, the whole bit. I also lied a LOT. It’s kind of scary how well you can lie if you really put your mind to it.
With Ryan being a life-long Yankee fan, the theme of the party was a no brainer. Invitations were game tickets with a childhood Yankee picture of the birthday boy himself. For favors, we had “Ryan” root beers and peanuts. Centerpieces were buckets full of bubble gum, liquorish and bases filled with chocolate baseballs. Guests held fun cut-outs over their faces of iconic Yankee players… Marilyn even wanted to join the fun so you may see her with her man, Joe Dimaggio. There were so many custom elements to celebrate Ryan and his love for the game.
Ryan was completely shocked, and it was awesome. When we walked in, we were greeted by our dearest friends and family. We are so truly blessed by the people in our lives and we thank you for joining us to celebrate this milestone!
Here are some of my favorite photos from the party. Happy Birthday Ry and go Yanks!
And here’s the time for my shameless plug… If you’re planning a party this year I’d love to help out with your invitations and decor. Contact me to get started on a custom stationery!
