Buffalo Wedding Inspiration

This next wedding inspiration has my heart. It’s no surprise that I’m a proud Buffalonian and like most of my neighbors, have a lot of pride for this city. So it was such treat when I got to pour some of that “Buffalove” into Danielle and Carlos’ stationery suite. From Buffalo shaped place cards to a fancy twist on a Queen City classic for hors d’oeuvres… there are so many home-town touches you can add to your wedding. This next inspiration shows off some of our favorite ideas.  From the Groom: “Honestly if anyone is considering having their invitations done you NEED to have Lindsay do them. First, she was so helpful and knowledgeable with everything and was able to give us tips on topics we…

Steampunk Wedding Inspiration

Have you heard of Steampunk? It wasn’t until I studied design in London that I heard about this funky, industrial style. Picture this: a mix of Victorian influences (corsets and lace gloves) combined with aspects of industrial England (gears, iron keys, factory goggles). So when Christine and Al came to me with this wedding theme I was totally on board. Brace yourself, this next inspiration is going to completely blow you away. From the bride: We absolutely LOVED our invitations!!! Lindsay took our vision and turned it into reality!! She was flexible and professional, always quick turn around with changes and when I still wasn’t sure, she offered samples so I could see what they look like in print. Exceeded every expectation I had!!!! I highly…

Hoopla House Celebrates 2 Years

Today marks a special day here in the HH studios… our second anniversary. 2 years ago, I embarked on an amazing adventure and dove head first into becoming a small business owner! When I decided to open Hoopla House Creative, I had no idea the impact it would have on me. Being able to turn my passion into a full time job has been such a blessing. The friends I’ve met, couples I’ve worked with, adventures I’ve been on and the confidence and happiness I’ve found within myself is something that I only dreamed of. It all started about 3 years ago over Thanksgiving weekend when I decided that I would be in control of my happiness and my destiny. I told my parents and…
